MILAN MENSWEAR SS15
Prada was set by a Hockney style deep blue pool and the collection its elf was very blue too. Amongst the beige and brown and decorative stitching blue reigned supreme in a slightly conservative 70s influenced collection.
At Jil Sander it was wide lemon-stripes on baggy white pants mixed with boxy and flowing top layers, in a muted palette of white, grey and pastels. Very sporty, right down to the black socks / chunky white sandal combo.
Bottega Veneta was a sophisticated sports influenced collection with soft textures and colours and a great half-zip hooded jacket styled with backpacks and lace-ups. Loads of cashmere, knitwear and silks.
It was surf-style on the Missoni catwalk, with stripy soft lines and arabic tones with deep indigo and sapphires. The classic zig zag Missoni print was accompanied by long hair and blazers styled open with scarves and knitwear.
