Vintage menswear can sometimes miss the limelight it deserves; taking a backseat and letting the women’s vintage reap the rewards. Here at Blitz we don’t think that’s fair so using our fresh drop of Autumn/Winter stock, we took to the streets to show you a little preview (and a little history).
Carhartt – Born in Detroit over 119 years ago, they are responsible for providing the best in working apparel. Originally created for railroad workers, the clothing needed to be almost indestructible, using duck canvas and triple stitched seams the result was long lasting durability and comfort for the workers.
Barbour – Established in 1894 and hailing from South Shields, J Barbour started in a small marketplace selling oilskins. The brand is now one of the most highly regarded in the outdoor clothing market, winning awards and being the official supplier to the Royal family.
