Having such a magnificent space to work with means we get to source some of the most interesting, beautiful and downright awe-inspiring pieces of furniture to fill it! A unique aspect of Blitz's make-up is the fact that pretty much everything you see is for sale, making it an ever-evolving space to shop.
From the cinema chairs you sit in when trying on that charming pair of brogues, to the guilded mirror you admire the heritage blazer you're trying out for size, even the chandeliers lighting your way; everything's available for you to take home.
Two of my personal favourite pieces have to be the American and German old time movie lights, straight from the golden age of glamour. One dates back to the 50s, and the other to the 30s.
Just imagine what backdrops they have illuminated, what faces they have lit and what on-set diva tantrums they have witnessed. Makes one come off all Norma Desmond-ish...
